All-weather punter cashes in on Monday afternoon cracker

IF WE don’t like the all-weather surfaces, Suffolk punter John McKenna loves them. And after his cracking betting performance on Monday, who can blame him?
John would rather dabble at these flapper meetings than bet on the meetings run on the turf, and according to the wily punter they are easier to work out.
Well, I can’t argue with a guy who picked six winners on Monday but John could have retired if he had rolled up his bet, as you will wee.
On to his cracking bets and John placed 2 x £5 trebles at Kempton and Wolverhampton on Monday morning.
We start with the Wolverhampton treble and the bet got off to the best possible start when The Glamour Cat hosed up in the 2.30 at (13/2) to kick-start the treble.
Thirty minutes later and jolly Divine Force won with ease at 15/8 and John had a great sweat on his last leg at Wolverhampton.
Fantasy Ride (7/1) prevailed in a tight finish from 20/1 outsider Crimson Flame and John had just netted £862.50.
On to his Kempton Park treble and Keenes Royale (3/1) got the treble up, winning in a canter in the opener, and when Gargano (4/1) won the 3.45 John was on another cracking sweat with £100 riding on his last selection.
Marjolly (11/2) didn’t let him down, winning well under Jimmy Quinn and another £650 was heading John’s way.
All in, he picked up just over £1,500 for his £10 stake and John was ecstatic with his windfall. But if he had rolled the bet up he would have had a 22,424-1 accumulator.
A £1 roll-up on the bet would have meant John picking up close to £24,000, but John isn’t greedy and is content with his winnings which will come in handy for what he rightly calls the longest month of the year.
We asked John for any hints/tips for the Punters Guide readers, and he told us to keep an eye on the Marco Botti-trained horses.
He has a few running today:
Hubble Space 2.20 Southwell 11/2
Rocket Rob 4.10 Wolv 13/2
Splinter Cell 5.40 Wolv 7/2
Orpenindeed 6.40 Wolv 6/1 feel a Yankee coming on

Our Nag is SPECIAL CUVEE again at Southwell - It's DUE!

  5. Is the key that file cuts, file cuts force to have horizontal thrust and perpendicular pressure two kinds. "18 pounds in a month...you tell me. Eat fruits rather than junk foods.
