CAN KAUTO BE STAR YET AGAIN AT KEMPTON?

Weather permitting we are in for an festive racing treat and the big question on most punters lips is ‘can Kauto Star make it four King George’s in a row?’.
Jockey Ruby Walsh described the horse as better than ever this week and Sean Grahams are taking no chances on Kauto and have installed the Gold Cup winner as their 8/13 favourite.
Off the dangers Imperial Commander just lost out to Star at Haydock going down a short-head and could well be a danger on Saturday but run a stinker at the track last St Stephens Day when he finished a well beaten sixth behind the champion.
KAUTO is the one to beat on Saturday but we also like a bit of value in the race and a live outside bet and last years runner-up ALBERTAS RUN ticks all the boxes and the step up to three miles could see him snatch a place at 20/1 - that’s a 4/1 winner.
A few horses to look out for on Saturday and if DR LIVINGSTONE turns up in the opener at Kempton then he’s worth a punt while PG favourite ANDYTOWN is entered in the Pertemps Handicap Hurdle at Wincanton on Saturday.
Sean Graham Bet: Kauto Star 8/13, Imperial Commander 6, Madison Du Berlais 9, Deep Purple 14, Nacarat 16, Barbers Shop 18, Albertas Run 20, Our Vic 50, Tartak 50, Master Medic 66, Racing Demon 80, Roll Along 100, Ollie Magern 150, Sandymac 500.
WELSH GRAND NATIONAL
As per usual the Welsh Grand National is lie a lottery with recent course winner Le Beau Bai leads most markets after his facile win at the track but we have put two fat ones up for this one.
Our first selection is HELLO BUD who goes for a National double after winning the Scottish equivalent back in April and he looks way too big at 25/1 - everything is in his favour trip, course and going.
COE looks an improving stayer and he’s another horse who will relish this 3 mile 5 furlong slog and the 16/1 on offer is a great each-way bet.
SEAN GRAHAM BET: Le Beau Bai 6 , The Tother One 7, Our Monty 11, Beroni 12, Halcon Genelardais 12, Companero 14, Flintoff 14 , Operation Houdini 14, Silver By Nature 14, Beat The Boys 16 , Coe 16, Gone To Lunch 16, Money Trix 16, Old Benny 16, Dont Push It 20, Equus Maximus 20, Hennessy 20, Kornati Kid 20, Others 25 or more
LEOPARDSTOWN FESTIVAL
The brilliant four day meeting at Leopardstown gets underway on Saturday and Triumph Hurdle favourite Alaivan will be a tall order in the Inforthenight.ie Juvenile Hurdle while SIZING EUROPE looks the bet in the Grade 1 Bord na Mona - with Nature Novice Steeplechase.
On to Sunday and all eyes will be on the Grade1 Paddy Power Dial-a-Bet Steeplechase and we have sided with TRANQUIL SEA who hacked up for us at Cheltenham.
Fionnegas will a warm order in the highly competitive Grade One Paddypowerpoker.com Future Champions Novice Hurdle on the same day while OPERATION HOUDINI could pop up at generous odds in the Paddy Power Steeplechase.
On to the Monday and we start with the Grade 1 Knight Frank Novice Steeplechase and we have sided with the Noel Meade trained Pandorama who bids for a hat-trick of wins over fences while Ninetieth Minute looks a solid bet in the woodiesdiy.com Christmas Hurdle.
On to the biggest race of the festival and the Grade 1 Lexus Steeplechase and we like the look of the English challenger WHAT A FRIEND who chased home Denman in the Hennessy and he looks the one to beat with Joncol the likely danger.
Sean Graham Bet: Joncol 3, Notre Pere 7/2, What A Friend 11/2, Cooldine 6, Voy Por Ustedes 9, Aran Concerto 16, In Compliance 16, Money Trix 16, Schindlers Hunt 16, Cloudy Lane 25, Jy Vole 33, Cane Brake 50.
The Grade 1’s don’t stop there and we have the Leopardstown Golf Centre December Festival Hurdle on the last day and the vastly improving Voler La Vedette (NAP) could upset Solwit in this one.

  3. Soccer Predictions:
ABSOLUTELY GUTTED is the only way to describe last weekend after ten-man Millwall ruined the PG’s and our readers’ Christmas when they scored a 95th minute equaliser to thwart our 14/1 fivehit.
Anyone who backed our quad doubled their money as the snowy weather hit our quad with three postponements and a Norwich win.
One lucky punter got the Christmas cash in when he took Sean Graham for £600 after placing a £20 double on outsiders PORTSMOUTH (4/1) to beat Liverpool and FULHAM (5/1) to beat Man Utd – a lovely touch.

    Punters’ Guide QUAD
On to the St Stephen’s Day football and we start with our quad (our advice is to watch out for the early kick-offs as there is a load of them).
We start with one of those early games at Upton Park where there is a basement battle with bottom team Portsmouth taking on the team above them, West Ham.
Both teams had great results at the weekend and will be hoping for three points come Saturday and we are banking on WEST HAM (5/4) who begin our weekend quad.
BURNLEY (11/10) can bounce back from that defeat at Wolves and grab three vital points at home to fellow strugglers Bolton.
QPR (11/10) have a new manager in with Paul Hart now at the helm and we are taking the Hoops to take all points at home to Bristol City.
We go to the SPL to make the quad up and are banking on a HEARTS (6/4) win at lowly Falkirk as the Jambos try and build on that Celtic win.

    Punters Guide FIVEHIT
On to the PG FIVEHIT and we start in the Championship where CARDIFF (1/2) are our first team down and should bag all points at home to Plymouth.
NORWICH (8/11) are on fire at the moment and three points beckon at Carrow Road against Millwall.
CHARLTON (8/11) let us down last week, but we are keeping faith with them to do the business against Swindon.
MORECAMBE (10/11) are in great heart and can continue their good run at the expense of Accrington Stanley.
MOTHERWELL (5/6) will hope to bounce back from that drubbing at Ibrox last week and we think they can with a win over St Johnstone.

    Punters Guide XXX
On to our draw treble and all our Xs are in the Premiership. We start at Craven Cottage where in-form FULHAM take on another in-form team in the shape of SPURS, and this one has draw written all over it,
SUNDERLAND are hard to beat at home and we fancy EVERTON to come away with a point while out-of-form Blackburn could grab a point away at WIGAN.
Remember those doubles and the treble in this bet – it usually pays off!
Hope all our readers have a merry and, more importantly, a winning Christmas and a fruitful New Year.
