We mentioned a Shaws Road punter a few weeks back who took Labrokes’ two from each section that netted him £1,355, and that set the bar for the season. Could it be bettered?
That question was answered in no uncertain terms by a Rock Street punter who delivered a 1,900/1 cracker last weekend.
The punter put £1 on the near-impossible-to-get Sean Graham 3 from each section that was priced up at 1,455/1.
He took Real Madrid 1/4, Rangers 1/6, Spurs 4/11, Linfield 4/9, Hamburg 4/11, Man City 8/13, Huddersfield 4/7, Liverpool 4/7, Dagenham 5/6, Stirling Albion 5/6, Everton 4/5, Sheffield Wednesday 7/4, MK Dons 9/5 and Norwich 11/10. They all won on the Saturday and Sunday of the weekend.
So our punter had 14 out of 14 going into Monday when he was waiting just on 1/6 shots Barcelona who didn’t give him a sweat (thank God), winning a one-sided game 3-0. Our punter picked up £1,901.51 for his trouble – the bar is set high once again. Can it be cleared? Watch this space.
A Clonard punter was also in the money when he backed Swede Alex Noren to win the Masters in Switzerland on Sunday.
He took the 100/1 on offer and had £20 each-way on the Swede, picking up £2,540 – what a great way to start a new week.

HE PG drought continues and to make matters worse I have Squinter giving me earache, and believe me folks, that ain’t pleasant.
We did tell punters to back Robbie Keane for first and last goal last week so a 5/1 winner is better than nothing, but it’s hard to please Squinter who backs the PG Quad religiously every week.
PG QUAD
Let’s start with our weekend banker – Bradford got the vote last week at 12/5 and we hope you included them in your own bet.
In-form LEEDS (6/5) play live on Friday at Roots Hall against draw specialists Southend. We are taking Simon Grayson’s team to make it seven from seven this season and climb back to the top of the table.
Accrington Stanley (6/5) also play on Friday night and although they are in a financial mess we are taking them to take all points at home to bottom side Darlington. So fingers crossed that’s the first two in the bag going into the Saturday/Sunday games.
ST MIRREN (1/1) grabbed a vital win at Kilmarnock last time and can win the battle of the Saints against St Johnstone.
We wait until Sunday for the quad and we have opted for HIBS (6/5) to win at SPL bottom club Hamilton and hopefully our first quad of the season will be secured.
PG XXX
Out of form too with the old draws at the moment, but we are expecting to bounce back with a Sunday XXX.
Take Aston Villa to claim a point in the midday Noddy Holder derby against fierce rivals Birmingham.
Everton travel to Craven Cottage in the big live game on Sunday and we expect David Moyes men to take a point from FULHAM.
Making the XXX up is the visit of leaders Newcastle to hard-to-beat Cardiff – this has draw written all over it. Remember the doubles and treble.
PG FIVEHIT
We end with our PG Fivehit which we need to improve on after last week. We’ve started with CRYSTAL PALACE (4/5) to take all points at home to Scunthorpe.
PRESTON (4/5) are hard to beat home and maximum points beckon at the expense of Swansea while READING (4/5) look too strong for Doncaster.
WATFORD (10/11) should make home advantage count against bottom club Barnsley and making the five-hit up are HUDDERSFIELD (4/5) who look too hot for Brentford.
The LAST English racing classic of the year takes place at Doncaster this weekend with the St Leger on Saturday – the main highlight of a four-day meeting that started on Wednesday.
Before we get to the big race we will try to work out the big races on Friday, and we start with the DFS Doncaster Cup (Group 2) on Friday (2.40).
Ascot Gold Cup third GEORDIELAND will be thereabouts but I have my concerns over the form of the Osbourne stable, so we have sided with the Marcus Tregoning-trained ASKAR TAU who looked the part when bolting up at York last time out and he’s looks the type to improve again.
The opening race on Friday’s card is the Polypipe Flying Childers Stakes (Group 2, 1.35) and it looks a wide-open affair. If MISHEER turns up then get on; SAND VIXEN is a danger.
On to Saturday’s card at Donny and we start with the lottery race of the day which is the six-furlong Ladbrokes Portland Heritage Handicap (2.25).
Irish trainer Ger Lyons sends over the improving RAIN DELAYED for this one, and if he reproduces his run behind Noble Storm last time out he will be in the shake-up Saturday. He gets a 14/1 early-week quote.
Sean Graham Bets: Markab 13/2, Pavershooz 9, Cheveton 12, Jimmy Styles 12, Johannes 12, Exceptional Art 14, Quest For Success 14, Rain Delayed 14, Barney McGrew 16, Jaconet 16, Master Of Disguise 16, Intrepid Jack 20, Judge N Jury 20, Santo Padre 20, Tamagin 20, Tony The Tap 20, Waffle 20, Oldjoesaid 22, Brave Prospector 25, Buachaill Dona 25.
We like the look of KITE WOOD and have marked him down for this race after his wins in the Bahrain Trophy and Geoffrey Freer Stakes on his last two starts. He will love the trip on Saturday and the 7/2 on offer now looks value.
As expected, Great Voltigeur winner Monitor Closely was supplemented for the race and connections expect a big run, but the danger could come from the Henry Cecil-trained FATHER TIME who, if he reproduces that Royal Ascot run, will a factor.
Sean Graham Bet: Age Of Aquarius 5/2, Kite Wood 7/2, Changingoftheguard 5, Monitor Closely 13/2, Father Time 8, Mourayan 10, Mastery 16, Above Average 100, Von Jawlensky 150, Rockhampton 200.
We end a busy weekend with the two big races at the Curragh and we think PROFOUND BEAUTY can upset Yeats in the Irish St Leger on Saturday while we believe the highly-touted KINGSFORT can win the Vincent O'Brien National Stakes (Group 1).
now i know i am biased but the more Mark Hughes talks crap about arsenal being beatable the more i think the gooners will beat them...

there's a rumour going about PG that you have collected on 15 football bets this year? I was talking to a guy in bookies where u punt and he called u a lucky git any truth in it?
Insider
A4e,look at the two squads.
City have a far better squad, beat arsenal easily and were missing robino and tevez.
Why have the bookies got them ahead of arsenal in the betting for the league.
wise up A4e
Roger R.
a4e thats why arsenal have not won a trophy in 5 years.
pretty football means nothing
its trophies that count.

Manchester City striker Emmanuel Adebayor has been hit with a double charge by the Football Association in the wake of last weekend's win over former club Arsenal.
Adebayor has been charged with violent conduct for his challenge on Robin van Persie and he has been charged with improper conduct for his goal celebration at Eastlands.
If Adebayor is found guilty of violent conduct he will be handed a three-match ban that would result in him missing Sunday's derby against Manchester United and that suspension could be increased if he is also found guilty of improper conduct.
Adebayor has until 6pm on Wednesday to respond to the charge, but it looks almost certain he will be handed a three-match ban with the charge of improper conduct to be heard at a later date.
why not appeal it.
If he gets the same panel as eduardo he will get off
