what we told bloggers on Friday...
Opening weekend Games
Right, let’s try and get off to a winning start at South Africa 2010. We begin with the opening games on Friday.
Hosts SOUTH AFRICA take on MEXICO and this looks a hard one to call, so we suggest the draw at 21/10 – the opener’s always so cagey. First goalscorer selection: Steven Pienaar at 11/1.
FRANCE take on URUGUAY on Friday night and again we suggest the draw in this one at 21/10 – double-up on both games and that could give us a dream start. First goalscorer selection: Luis Suarez at 7/1.
PG FIVEHIT
Some great games over the weekend and our banker bet is ARGENTINA (1/2) to beat Nigeria on Saturday afternoon, and that starts our five-hit.
GERMANY (8/15) look too strong for Australia on Sunday night while HOLLAND (8/13) should get off to a winning start against Denmark on Monday.
SPAIN (1/3) are expected to get off to a winning start and they should see off Switzerland on Wednesday.
Making the five-hit up are CHILE (8/13) who should make a winning start against Honduras.
PG QUAD
On to our first quad of the World Cup and SLOVENIA (6/5) are first down to beat Algeria on Sunday, followed by CAMEROON (11/10) to beat Japan on Monday.
SOUTH KOREA (15/8) can get their ball rolling by beating Greece on Saturday night.
Hopefully three up ahead of our last selection on Monday night where we have gone for PARAGUAY (10/3) to upset the holders Italy.

Tough week this for punters with Royal Ascot, World Cup and the US Open..

let's start with World Cup and we are banking on a Ivory Coast upset today against Portugal while Slovakia and Brazil should win with ease.
In fact Vittel at 4/1 looks a good bet to get the day up and running by scoring first against New Zeland.

on to Ascot and here we go
2.30 Paco Boy just from Goldikova e/w Pipedreamer 66/1

3.05 Kingsgate Native e/w Borderlescott

3.50 Canford Cliffs (NAP) e/w Dick Turpin

4.25 Zoffany e/w Roayh

5.00 Junior e/w Elyaadi

5.35 Oor Jock e/w Stone Of Folca

Good luck folks today, you'll need it..

Good stuff yesterday folks and the PG was also back at the winners enclosure.
The Brazilians didn't convince me at all last night and the bookmakers felt the same pushing them out to 5s.
I will be banking on Chile's and ex- Liverpool winger Mark Gonzalez to get the day off to a perfect start by scoring first against Honduras at 10/1.
On to Ascot and a very good day yesterday but things look a lot harder today so here we go.

2.30 1. Shakespearean (NAP) 2. Field Of Dream
3.05 1. Antara 2. Shamwari Lodge
3.50 1. Twice Over 2. Cavalryman
HUNT CUP 1. Mull Of Killough 2 .Invisible Man
5.00 1. Meow 2. Ladies Are Forever
5.35 1. Lolly For Dolly 2. Sweet Sonnet

PG is off until Friday so need to read us in Thursday's paper (out Wednesday night) when we be giving away free £20 bets yet again so just email your name and contact to puntersguide@irelandclick.com,

Just back to work for the USA game and they look too strong me feels or Slovenia and we suggest you add CHILE 11-8 PARAQUAY 1-1 and GHANA 1-1.
What about that French team last night - a waste of a World Cup spot and the manager is clueless and Germans went down 1-0 to Serbia... how did Vidic stay on the field??
Keep the emails coming for free bets we have handed out 15 of them and nobody has won a sausage yet.
First Goal USA game: 13/2 Altidore and a 3-1 scoreline at 18s scorecast 80/1 worth a £1 or 2
Missed the first race at Ascot today but hopefully GREEN MOON and ANNA SALAI can do it for us in the next 3 races.
last three races at Ascot
Rainbow Peak
Mikhail Glinka
Himalya

Portugal back in after that 7-0 romp...

fancy Chile to win the next game against the Switz at 11/8 - 3-1 20/1.. and watch out for Sanchez who looks a player or the Chileans..

and it's to Spain tonight who need to win and win well against Honduras and Torres and 4-0 looks the bet

and lastly the Monday NAG - Centime 6.40 Windsor
