Roll Along in the Gold Cup

On to DAY 2 of the festival and hope you got a few winners yesterday.. more than we did I bet?
We have the Paddy Power Gold Cup today which is the main feature and we are going for ROLL ALONG in this one after his sixth in the GOLD CUP. He side-stepped the BET365 Gold Cup at the weekend for this and the Carl Llewellyn yard can make it two GOLD CUPS in 5 days...

rest off selections: (3.45) Hangover, (4.20) Moville, (4.55) The Midnight Club (5.30 Dunguib (NAP) F/C Golden Sunbird
GOLD CUP (6.05) Roll Along (6.40) Arc En Ciel (7.10) Rock Street

Great Ascot card as well today and Walkingonthemoon might just upset hotpot Red Jazz in the opener while General Eliott looks a big player in the 3.20.

Mugs Double?? today NASRI (3.55 Ascot) and NASRI to score first tonight 14/1...

Todays £20 winner H Kerr - keep entering @ puntersguide@irelandclick.com

Day 2 selections.....

3.45 - Oh So Humble
4.20 - Coffee Tea or Me (Nap)
4.55 - The Midnight Club (NB)
5.30 - Dunguib (Treble)
6.05 - War of Attrition
6.40 - Arc En Ciel
7.15 - Rock Street

The 4.20 race looks to revolve around a race at Fairyhouse where COFFEE TEA OR ME finished 2nd behind Fist of God, he had 3 or 4 of the runners he faces today behind him that day and he can go one better.

watched that race Audere Est Facere and my selection MOVILLE was never put in to the race - strange ride that day by the jock - could be closer today if ridden closer to the leaders..

Looking at the form of that race Moville was only 5 1/2 lengths behind Coffee Tea or Me so it's certainly possible that with a more positive rie he will get closer. The interesting one for me to reoppose Coffee Tea or Me is Jessica Harrington's MANOR PARK who is 7lbs better off for a 7 1/2 length beating. Crossdresser is also better off but he was well beaten that day and would need more than 7lbs to reverse the form. Coffee Tea Or Me looks the safest bet for me.

Shaun Murphy the first player into this years snooker semi-finals after beating Stephen Hendry.

I've £20 on Murphy at 14/1 from the start to win. Hopefully if he gets to the final I can lay some of the bet off!!

poor ride from a poor jockey..

Moville would have been 1/3 at least with 2 furlongs to go. Bad jump at the last but stayed on again but always held.
The Racingpost tipped the winner too.
