Confirmation of McCoy's choice....
Tony McCoy has been confirmed as the rider of the Butler's Cabin in Saturday's John Smith's Grand National at Aintree.
The 13-times champion jockey has failed to win the world's most famous steeplechase in 13 previous attempts and has been deliberating all week which one of four horses he would ride for his boss JP McManus.
However, after leaving the decision as late as possible, he has sided with Butler's Cabin, who he rode in the race 12 months ago before the pair parted company at Becher's Brook on the second circuit.
"Tony has decided to go with Butler's Cabin and all four horses will run," said McManus' racing manager Frank Berry.
"Robert Thornton will ride L'Ami, Noel Fehily rides Can't Buy Time and Mark Walsh rides Reveillez."
The top 40 in the handicap from the confirmation stage on Monday - with the exception of the already scratched War Of Attrition - all stood their ground for the Aintree marathon at the final declaration stage, meaning Zabenz takes his place at the foot of the weights on 10st 5lb.
Cloudy Lane has the burden of top-weight under 11st 10lb as he bids to give the McCain family another National success, while last year's winner Comply Or Die shoulders 11st 6lb for David Pipe and David Johnson.
Ante-post favourite My Will (11st 4lb) is one of four runners for champion trainer Paul Nicholls, with Eurotrek (11st 3lb), Big Fella Thanks (11st 1lb) and Cornish Sett (10st 10lb) all lining up.
Becher Chase winner Black Apalachi carries 11st 5lb along with former Irish Grand National winner Hear The Echo, while leading fancy Rambling Minster has 10st 9lb.

ANDYTOWN runs Friday 4.15 should be a 7/1 shot!
4.55 that is!
PG
Forecast on Sportinglife has him as 11/2 fav, although their forecast prices can be way off at times.
He has 5lbs more to carry than last time (after taking off FDG's 3lb claim) and the flatter track may not suit as he seemed to relish the climb up the hill at Cheltenham. There are a couple of horses running today though that could frank the Cheltenham form.
still worth a punt - the 3 miles will suit him though!
anyone who backed him at the festival have nothing to lose
Definitely worth a punt, as you say especially by those who lifted a few quid from him at Cheltenham. Unless they declared the winnings to the misses in which case it will be well gone!!!

There were no fools on here until you appeared Raffo!
Any chance of doing one??
Mighty Man was a very unlucky loser in the first. He looked to have the measure of fav Big Bucks but a terrible mistake at the last has cost him the race!
Last certainly cost him! Previous to the race I backed Mighty Man, but took Big Bucks in running at 9/2!!! gotta love betfair!

Audere Est Facere, think you have a facination about your lover Raffo.

Betfair can be a saviour at times like that!! Nice one!!
more job loses announced today.
suppose Audere Est Facere will have a laugh at that also.
what a disgrace you are my friend
Webber
Webber/Raffo/Petrot Chelly and the rest
Job loses need not worry you my friend, you have to actually have a job to be affected by job loses so you are safe as houses pal!!
Walkon hacks up in the second race. I backed him at Cheltenham and I suppose I deserved that for desserting him!!
Starluck and Hebridean were poor today.
The bookies opened Denman up at Evs and pushed him out to 6/5, at that stage the punters dived in like vultures and he's now back into Evs. Looks as though he may well go off odds-on.
I still think this could be Exotic Dancer's well deserved day!!
Audere Est Facere you spend half your day blogging here and the rest looking for money on the bookies floor.
What a life.
speaking about jobs.I earn a hell a lot more than you boy
petrot chelly
Denman suffered a crashing fall at the 3rd last fence and it could be the end of him. Vet's and all associated with him are currently checking him over. Fingers crossed!
HI FI 12/1 - 4.40 Taunton
Has a great chance of winning this race. I have it in an each-way double with Mighty Man earlier!!
EXOTIC DANCER has died after suffering a heart attack in his stable after his race at Aintree today.
Very sad news!
Hi Fi 3rd at 10's, I was on at 12's.
Each way double up!!
best thing could have happened the poor horse, better than getting whipped and run into the ground
