The 2008 winner Denman and former champion Kauto Star are among 16 horses declared for the Cheltenham Gold Cup.
Denman comes into the race on the back of a defeat on his seasonal return in February, leaving Kauto Star as favourite for Friday's showpiece.
The Paul Nicholls-trained pair are joined by stablemate Neptune Collonges, who was third last year.
There will be no Irish representation in the field as 2006 winner War of Attrition was withdrawn on Monday.
Trainer Morris Mouse pulled him out after the 10-year-old suffered a slight injury and he will now target the Grand National at Aintree in April.

Khan easier than Hamed - Barrera
Barrera relying on vintage performance
Marco Antonio Barrera believes it will be "even easier" to beat Amir Khan than Naseem Hamed, who the Mexican legend outclassed in Las Vegas in 2001.
Former three-weight world champion Barrera, 35, faces Bolton lightweight Khan, 22, in Manchester on Saturday.
"I heard all the same talk about Hamed when I beat him," said Barrera.
"By the time I was Khan's age I had made six world title defences and beaten some greats. Everybody wants to beat me, but at the end I win."
