Irish trainer Ted Walsh believes his son, Ruby, is likely to ride Paul Nicholls' My Will in the John Smith's Grand National.
The star jockey also has the option of partnering his father's Southern Vic and the Nicholls-trained Big Fella Thanks at Aintree on Saturday.
Unless there is a deluge of rain in the next few days, however, Walsh snr expects his son to team up with My Will, the general ante-post favourite.
"I'm praying for rain," Ted Walsh told the Guardian.
"If it gets heavy, Ruby will be on mine, but if not, he'll probably ride one of Paul Nicholls' runners.
"I don't know for sure, and he'll have to talk to Paul, but I'd say he'll probably go for experience and ride My Will."

A couple of predictions that I fancy to take place......
YOUMZAIN is to be targeted for the Coronation Cup at the Derby meeting in June. I think this horse will definitely be one to follow this season and could pick up some of the flat's top prizes.
JERMAINE BECKFORD - I reckon he will be snapped up by one of the teams winning promotion from the Championship i.e. Wolves, Birmingham etc. or possibly even by a current Prem League team e.g. Wigan, Blackburn, West Ham etc.

Ruby Walsh confirmed that he will ride MY WILL in the Grand National. The drying ground basically made his mind up for him and My Will has been cut from 9's into 8's fav.
Anyone who saw my comments with all the National stats will be avoiding My Will like the plaguge!! He's French bred (no French bred winner in almost 100 years) and he will carry AT LEAST 11st 1lb (only Hedgehunter, since Corbiere in 1982, has carried more than 11st and only Red Rum, in the last 57 years, has carried more than 11st 5lbs).
Would you want to be taking a skinny 8/1 for a horse up against these stats??? I certainly wouldn't!!
