Fisher Athletic are set to make football history when a female manager leads them out for Wednesday's Blue Square South match against Eastleigh.
Club turnstile operator Donna Powell raised £500 for the struggling club and was rewarded with becoming the first woman to manage a Conference side.
"I am confident I can do well - I already run a boys' football team," Powell told the club's website.
"I am no shrinking violet and do not suffer fools lightly."
The 27-year-old, who takes over from regular boss Dave Mehmet for one game, added: "I'll be picking the team and they'll be playing my way, none of this long ball nonsense - we'll be passing the ball on the floor, playing the game the right way.
MICKY GINGE
does she wait till the team is changed then go into the changing room for the team talk? hahaha

MADRID AT IT AGAIN
REAL MADRID president Vicente Boluda claims the club are still confident of signing Cristiano Ronaldo.
The Spanish giants have tracked the Manchester United winger for over two years and were linked with a blockbuster £75million move for him last summer.
And while Ronaldo admitted being flattered by Madrid’s interest, a late change of heart saw him turn down their offer to remain at Old Trafford.
But new reports in Spain suggest Real chiefs have secured financing for a summer swoop and a pre-contract is said to have already been arranged for the Portugal international.
And, speaking on Spanish television, Boluda revealed the club remain intent of finally capturing the 24-year-old.
He said: “I am convinced we will see him at the Bernabeu.”
Boluda inherited the top job at Real when Ramon Calderon was forced to step down last month.
But although he will not be standing for election in the summer, he admitted he is also hoping the presidential candidates may allow him to extend the deal of coach Juande Ramos.
The ex-Spurs boss replaced Bernd Schuster in December and was handed a contract until the end of the season.
Ramos has impressed during his brief spell at the club and Boluda is keen for the 54-year-old to sign a long-term deal with the club.
He added: “I want the presidential candidates to allow me to renew the deal of Juande.
“He is a great coach and I will authorise his stay, if I can – we would love him to continue.”

Raffo here.Obviously that tool Liam is posting inder my name now.
Raffo is a utd man and fancies utd to bang 3 or 4 past fulham.i NEVER FANCY ANY TEAM TO DRAW AGAINST THE BEST TEAM IN THE WORLD
But is this possible:-Manchester United continue their quest for unprecedented quintuple honours, by picking up a 10th successive victory in all competitions at the expense of mid table Fulham.
probably not.would settle for the league and champions league and let the rest fight for the scraps
RAFFO
Simon Davies - x spurs player---Liam post under your own name...
Micky Ginge
whoever you are your wasting your time. everyone knows who i am and im a utd man but they know i like a bet when i see one
fulham are a hard team to beat this season and i fancy them to nick a draw against the champions but it wont stop us winning the league yet again
simon davies is playing well this season and is under rated ill take him to score first at a good price
Raffo the one and only
Fulham to win 2-0 is the bet of the day plus spurs to get relegated has jumped to 5/1.I know i am a spuirs fan but its worth a few quid
Liam
spurs should be 1-5 to get relegated the way they are playing. the 3 teams going down are west brom spurs and newcastle.
Raffo
would be good to see spurs and newcastle go down...probably the two most over rated teams in the premiership.. if they both go down they will never recover
micky ginge
spurs west brom and newcastle to go down with burnley reading and crystal palace coming up.
Raffo
Dont think so Liam, raffo has far too much sense than to post such rubbish.

To Raffo and mickey ginge. As this is a blog for punters and you both like to punt, i would like to propose a genuine wager. If you both are so certain of spurs getting relegated then its time to put your money where your mouth is.
Find the best price on the road for them to be relegated and i will give you an extra point. I will take your bet. This is genuine. I will call into the Andytown news office and leave my details with gerard mulhern if yiz fancy it

spursman
Well, well Raffo. Lets see you put your money where your big mouth is pal!!
No 50p bets now Raffo as you usually do!!

Spursman/liam,the real liam...whoever you are,i the one and only Raffo will take 10/1 that Spurs will get relegated.

Raffo
This is Liam here (the real one) and I can assure you that I am not 'Spursman' and I haven't a clue who he is! But I do hope he comes back and takes your £100 which sounds like easy money!!
Liam (The real one)
Not a problem. Could you tell me where you got 9-1 for them to be relegated as im sure you understand that i cant go into this blind. Havent had the chance to check myself yet, but if you got 9s in one of the roads bookies then i'll give you 10s. Just confirm where you got it and i'll
give my details and stuff to puntersguide and we'll see whose
big mouth gets shut
spursman
Give the man the price Spursman, you have shouted your mouth off here enough.
Good to see the real Liam back, just in time for the cheltenham blog

Stay out of it, it's between Spursman and Raffo. Spursman is entitled to know where Raffo got the price if he's going to cover this bet.
And you say Spursman has been shouting his mouth off on here for long enough now?? He's only arrived on the scene yesterday, Raffo has been acting the big lad and being a slabber since this blog started.
Raffo, let him know where you got the 9/1 and get the deal sorted out!!
Liam (the real one)
Mackers, I think im entitled to know where he got the 9s. Im not daddy christmas. As iv said, if raffo got 9s then i will give him 10s but he has to tell me where he got it. I think thats a reasonable
request considering. Im sure raffo
agrees
