Vegas Boys: The boys pictured in Dublin airport before heading to the bright lights of Vegas.
Pictured are TJ Striker Mallon, JP Holdem, Charlie Blackjack, Joey the Mooch, The PG and Danny Kendall

Midweek Soccer:
Things are bad at the moment and I consulted the Vegas Boys on who to back this week and together we have come up with a quad that will hopefully make us a few quid this week also adding his valued opinion was Kevin McCabe.

Get the pens ready!
FULHAM 1/1 to beat Swansea - Tuesday
OLDHAM 5/6 to beat Bristol Rovers - Tuesday
CARDIFF 1/1 to beat QPR - Wednesday
HULL 1/1 to beat Sheffield Utd - Thursday

and the PG Champions League Quad:
Inter Milan 8/5, Real Madrid 6/5, Chelsea 5/6, Lyon (draw) 12/10

Hearing from my bookie that there is a lot of dosh for Pressman in the 2.40 at Catterick 5s from 9s - form figures of 300-P57 doesn't fill me with confidence though.
The PG has opted for GUS in the last at Leicester - he's around 8/1 for the finale

DIRK KUYT ARRESTED FOR TALKING RUBBISH

DIRK KUYT insists victory over Real Madrid can inspire Liverpool to Premier League glory.

The Reds trail leaders Manchester United by SEVEN points after the 1-1 draw with Manchester City at the weekend.

They travel to Spain for their Champions League last 16 clash tomorrow night.

But Dutch striker Kuyt reckons the title race is not over and a win at the Bernabeu would be just the tonic.

He said: "We must concentrate on getting the right result there.

"If we do that in Madrid it will boost our confidence as we try to win the final league games.

"It is not impossible to catch Manchester United.

"The situation has not changed much, we have always needed to win our games.

"The gap has been a few points for some while and we have just needed to maintain our form and keep in touch with United."

Tony Mowbray has been all the rage with Victor Chandler clients to be the next Premier League manager to leave his post after a deluge of bets this morning.

The West Brom boss was 20/1 to leave next, but the firm were forced to suspend the market such was the level of interest.

"It was a good old fashioned punt, and to be honest we were expecting the news that he had gone," said VC spokesman Neal Wilkins.

"Whether they felt there was value at 20/1, or whether they know something we don’t is hard to gauge. I suppose after the display at Fulham, they have a point."

Meanwhile bet365 make the promoted trio of West Brom, Stoke and Hull 13/2 to all return to the Championship at the end of the season.

bet365 spokesman Steve Freeth: "West Brom and Stoke have hovered in and around the bottom three for a while now and Phil Brown will be looking nervously at the league table after another defeat on Monday."

Rory McIlroy, who has shot up to a career high 13 in the world following his first professional victory in Dubai, has been backed into 16/1 from 20/1 with Sky Bet to beat Tiger Woods in a potential round three clash at the Accenture Matchplay Championship this week.

The pair are 4/1 for a round three showdown, with Tiger an 11/2 shot to beat the Northern Irishman.

Sky Bet's John Rhodes said: "McIlroy v Woods would be an intriguing showdown and we’ve seen plenty of support for the in-form Irishman to mar Tiger’s comeback."

The 19-year-old opens against South Africa's world number 49 Louis Oosthuizen and is 5/4 to be eliminated in Wednesday's first round tomorrow, 2/1 to go out in the second, 11/1 to be eliminated in the quarter-finals, 18/1 to bow out in the semis and 50/1 to win.

Brendan Jones meets Tiger Woods in the first-round and is 4/1 to be the fourth Australian to beat the world number one in this event.

Sky Bet are offering a variety of enhanced multiples on the Accenture Matchplay Championship, including 4/1 for the top seeds in each of the four brackets (Woods, Vijay Singh, Sergio Garcia and Padraig Harrington) all to win their opening round matches.

Irish prospects McIlroy, Graeme McDowell and Padraig Harrington are quoted at 5/1 to beat their first-round opponents while the firm also offer 7/1 for Englishmen Lee Westwood, Justin Rose, Paul Casey and Luke Donald all to win their respective opening games.

William Hill have suspended betting on the next Barclays Premier League manager to leave his post after Rafael Benitez was 'backed off the boards' by Hill's customers to be the ninth manager to go this season.

At 5pm on Tuesday night, the Spaniard was a 20/1 outsider to be the next manager to go and Hills were flooded with calls for Rafa to leave his post by the weekend, cutting the price all the way in to Evens before suspending betting at 9.30 this morning.

Spokesman Rupert Adams said: "We are slightly jumpy after being turned over by the recent 'Weymouth coup' but the level of interest on Rafa getting the sack is unprecedented with over 300 calls logged today alone.

"We would be very surprised if Rafa is still the Liverpool boss by midnight on Sunday."

The Reds visit Real Madrid tonight in the first leg of their Champions League last-16 clash and should they get knocked out of the competition, Benitez faces the reality of a trophy-less season.

Liverpool trail runaway Premier League leaders Manchester United by seven points following their disappointing 1-1 draw at home to Manchester City at the weekend, adding to the pressure which has built since the turn of 2009.

Despite topping the table on New Year's Day, Benitez has since watched his side throw away points against Stoke, Everton, Wigan and City while an FA Cup fourth-round exit against the Toffees compounded their problems further.

Rafa's infamous outburst towards Sir Alex Ferguson just before their goalless draw at Stoke sparked reports he was beginning to feel the strain while his ongoing contract negotiations have also led to speculation his time at Anfield could be drawing to a close.

Sky Bet have already priced up a market on his successor, with Kenny Dalglish the 3/1 favourite (from 10/1). Jose Mourinho is 10/1.
