Black Cats to get Tuesday night milk

Tuesday Night Quad:
Great soccer tonight and hopefully we can fill our boots before we head to Vegas on Saturday - we start with our NAP and we have opted for a SUNDERLAND (13/10) win at home to Fulham - I'm also taking Kenwyne Jones (pic above) to open the scoring at 6/1.
NOTTINGHAM FOREST (11/10) are a team in form and must be taken to beat Sheffield Wednesday while NORWICH (10/11) under new management can win at home to struggling Southampton. Making tonight;s quad up are READING (6/5) who take on leaders Wolves are just starting to buckle a wee bit.
PG XXX
On to the draws and we have took Aston Villa to grab a draw at Fratton Park as the pressure mounts on Portsmouth boss Tony Adams - Add draw specialists Bristol City to grab a point at Plymouth and take QPR and Blackpool to share the spoils.

Tuesday Horsewatch: Sole Agent 3.50 Folkestone around 5/2

Inverness Caledonian Thistle are expected to name Terry Butcher as their new manager on Tuesday evening.

The former Motherwell and Swindon boss Maurice Malpas is also expected to join him in the Highlands as his assistant.

Butcher is currently assistant to Scotland boss George Burley and it is as yet unclear whether he will continue in that role.

The former England captain was last in charge of Brentford for just six months in 2007.

Robinho held over 'sex assault'
Robinho
Robinho said he was "happy to co-operate with police"

Manchester City forward Robinho has been arrested by police investigating an allegation of sexual assault.

The Brazilian international, 25, met police as part of a "criminal investigation" into the alleged attack at a nightclub in Leeds.

Robinho "strenuously denied any allegation of wrongdoing" and had been released on bail, his spokesman said.

West Yorkshire Police said a man had been arrested on Tuesday in connection with an alleged incident on 14 January.

Robinho's spokesman, Chris Nathaniel, said: "[Robinho] strenuously denies any allegation of wrongdoing or criminality and is happy to co-operate with the police if further required."

Robinho, whose full name is Robson de Souza, joined Manchester City from Spanish giants Real Madrid in September for £32.5m, making him Britain's most expensive player.

He has since scored 12 goals for his new club and become a favourite of City fans.

Chelsea had been favourites to land the Brazilian before City stepped in to hijack the deal on transfer deadline day last summer.

Just days later, Robinho scored in his debut game for City against Chelsea, although the Londoners ended the match with a 3-1 victory.

Barstool - quick shifty over the nags and have come up with VEHARI in the opener at Newcastle

Anonymous said...

Like the look of your selection after a scan through the nags. Is getting alot of weight from a few of his rivals.

My pick so far is STEADY TIGER in the 1.55 Newcastle. Has been nibbled at all morning so will be taking whatever price I can manage.

Can see Denis O'Regan having a good day today.

Tempted in piling into 2 or 3 of the short price 'certs' at Limerick...

Colin Montgomerie has been appointed captain of the European team for the 2010 Ryder Cup at the Celtic Manor resort in Wales and says it's one of his "proudest moments".

Anonymous said...

Colin Montgomerie(Mrs Doubtfire) has been named as captain of the Europe team for the 2010 Ryder Cup at Wales' Celtic Manor.

The 45-year-old, an eight-time Ryder Cup veteran, was one of two leading contenders for the role along with 2008 vice-captain Jose Maria Olazabal.

"This is obviously one of my proudest moments," said the Scot.

"It is a huge responsibility having lost the last Ryder Cup. It is important we do everything we can to claim back the Ryder Cup in 2010."
