NEW YEAR, and hopefully we can begin the punting year, the way we left 2008 - in a winning way.
It’s FA Cup third round weekend and after studying the weekend Sean Grahams soccer coupon (below) we hopefully have come with a few winners .
Punters Guide FA CUP QUAD
We start with our weekend quad and we have opted for FULHAM (6/5) as our weekend banker.
This Fulham team are hard to beat under Roy Hodgson and we expect them to progress to the Fourth round with a win at Sheffield Wednesday on Saturday.
SHEFFIELD UTD (1/1) have strung a few results together and we are taking them to ease into the Fourth round by Leyton Orient.
DONCASTER (6/5) grabbed two vital league wins overt the festive period and we are hoping that run continues at Cheltenham who looked SIX in their last home game.
Making the quad up are BLACKPOOL (1/1) who have yet to lose a match since Simon Grayson’s departure from the helm and they should progress at non-league Torquay.
Punters Guide FA CUP FIVEHIT
Quickly on to our odds-on Fivehit and we start with PORTSMOUTH (1/2) who can get back to winning ways at home to Bristol City.
WATFORD (3/4) should get the better of Scunthorpe while WEST HAM (1/2) should go through against Barnsley.
Managerless DERBY (4/6) should progress at the expense of non-league Forest Green and making the Fivehit up are WEST BROM (1/2) who should take care of Peterboro at the Hawthorns.
Punters Guide FA CUP XXX
On to our draw treble and these are the games we think might just need replays.
Leaky NEWCASTLE travel to Hull andthis looks the banker draw of the weekend. Championship pacemakers Birmingham and Wolves go head to head at St Andrews - I think they might need a second game to sort this one out.
Making our draw treble up is the visit of READING to Ninan Park to take on last year’s finalist CARDIFF - another tight one that could go to the wire.
Remember those doubles as well, folks!
WEEKEND MYTHICAL QUAD
We end with our weekend mythicals and urge our readers to do trebles (17/1) and a quad (45/1) in this particular bet.
First down are in-form CARLISLE who look a good bet against Brighton in the mythicals.
CHARLTON are not winning but still scoring at the Valley and they look a good bet to outscore Cardiff.
DONCASTER take on leaky Cheltenham and we have taken them to outscore Fulham.
Making the weekend Mythical bet up are DERBY who could score a bucket at Forest Green and we are banking on them to outscore Swansea who face Histon who knocked out Leeds in the last round.

Got a word about a horse running today, MR WILLIS in the 1.30 at Lingfield. Improved when stepped up to 7f last time out this horse is really fancied to get his head in front today, so much so that he was 11/2 last night but is now 15/8 fav!!!
I also like the look of MASWERTE in the 12.00 at Lingfield for Luca Cumani. The step up in trip will suit him and he should go very close.
My last selection is MOURAD in the 2.45 at Punchestown. Making his hurdling debut today this horse was very good on the flat for John Oxx and this son of Sindaar should be too good today. He has the main man Ruby Walsh on board which automatically cuts at least 2 points of his price. He is 11/10.
