Champions Out!

The Sean Graham PG Cup Quarter-Final Challenge

2007 Champions DVLNI Punters were sensationally dumped out of the PG Cup last weekend by the very much inform Glenhill Punters.
It was a bridge too far for the DVLNI boys, who failed to find a winner and limped out of this year’s competition as Glenhill made it to their first ever semi-final. Word reaches the Guide that the ex-champions reneged on a big side-bet with Glenhill, their only good call on a shocking weekend.
On to this week’s quarter-final and we have the inky printers in the BMG printroom taking on the baker boys that are Coyles Punters.
Both sides eased through to the quarter-finals and this one is a tight one to call. Pressure mounted on the BMG captain Kevin ‘The Charmer’ McCabe after a mutiny broke out within his team after their last round romp over Squinter’s barmy army. Conor ‘Longshot’ Vernon tried to take the captain’s armband but was outvoted by the rest of the squad. Kieran ‘Steepledowns’ Sloan and Dermy ‘Hasn’t Got a Clue’ Ó Tuama keep their places along with statsman Bo who knows his soccer stuff.
Captain McCabe told the PG that they expect to lift a few quid on this weekend’s selections. They take on the Coyles Bakery punters. The team is led by the shrewd Brian Coyle Snr who has recruited punting sons Brian Jnr, Patrick and Barry.
“If the readers of the PG want to win a bit of dough this weekend then I urge them to back our four certs,” a confident Brian told the Guide.
Both sides have £25 bets on their quad courtesy of Sean Graham bookmakers
BMG PRINTERS: Wolves 1/1, Everton 10/11, Derby 1/1, Forfar 4/5.
COYLES PUNTERS: Man City 6/4, Newcastle 11/10, Chelsea 4/11, Blackburn 6/5.
QUARTER-FINAL DRAW
NEXT WEEK
DaiRY FARM v CHUCKERS
WIPEOUTS
WEEK AFTER
BRIGHT SPARKS v BRU CREW

I bet you are relieved though that quad came up...could have been alot of worse. you are still well in profit however thats the main thing. I picked a bet out but didn't do it in the end. Would have lost anyway so thats nearly as good as a winner.
