Best £40 bet of the season so far

A local punter took Sean Grahams for over 7 grand at the weekend on a soccer five-timer.
The plucky punter placed £40 on SUNDERLAND (12/5) won 2-1 at Blackburn, FULHAM (11/5) who beat Spurs 2-1, OLDHAM (7/4) who won 1-0 at Northampton, WYCOMBE (13/10) who beat Bradford 1-0 and finally WREXHAM (6/4) won won 3-1 at Weymouth.
Christmas covered? I think so! what a cracker

I just did a 3 £4 doubles and an £8 treble bet in the first 3 races at Hexham for an oul interest...

1.10 HARRISONS STAR 10/1
1.40 LETTERPRESS S.P
2.10 TWELVE PACES S.P

I like the look of Petrot Chelly's footie bet and might have £20 on it too.

First selection in my doubles and trebles chinned but the 2nd one won at 9/1!! Thank God I didn't take the 9/2 board price on offer.
I've £40 going on to my last selection. I didn't take the 2/1 B.P on offer for it either so lets hope the punters don't lump on it.

I had £20 on them five teams of Petrot Chelly's and according to Ladbrokes docket it will net me £514.50 plus any bonus!!

By the way, if your backing Petrot Chelly's 5 teams you need to be on before 4.30pm as the Montenegro game kicks off at that time!!!

Liam

TWELVE PACES is 15/8 from 2/1!!

I can see this going off about 5/4 but a win is a win!!

If it's only your opinion then why are you telling others to stay away?

Fair enough, but I wasn't posting the 4 teams for anyone to back.

Liam

Liam because i am giving them my opinion.

You're TELLING them to stay away, there is a difference.

I'm glad you do disagree with me though as the past few disagreements we've had whether it's golf, horses or football I usually am right so let's not ruin it now!!

Looking at your bet straight away and Man Utd stand out as the team that may let you down. 10/11 away to one of the most in form teams in the League at present?? Wouldn't touch them with a barge pole!!

But, that is only my opinion!! ;-)

Liam

Anonymous said...

Liam,My opinion is that Man Utd will win,You'r not the champions of England and Europe by chance....(but thats only my opinion)but your recprd recentlty is not too good here but even you might get lucky

ronaldo first goal and the champions to win 3-0

p.s ... may i be the first to wish you Happy Christmas Liam...

Weekend Soccer

SOME great football ahead this weekend, folks, and we start with our PG Quad.
First up and the weekend nap are MAN UTD (5/6) who travel to Villa Park in the live Saturday night game on Setanta where they face a tricky looking game against Martin O’Neill’s Aston Villa team. But we fancy the champions to take all three points as they look to close on Liverpool and Chelsea.
CRYSTAL PALACE (13/10) need to get back in the groove and quick and we think three points beckon for the Eagles at home to inconsistent Bristol City.
NOTTINGHAM FOREST (5/4) are starting to make a bit of a mark in the Championship and we are siding with them to win against leaky Norwich.
AIRDRIE (5/4) got the better of Ross County in the weekend’s Alba Challenge Cup final and we expect them to double up on Saturday with another win.
Punters GUIDE XXX
On to our draws. Raith and Brechin lead the way in the Scottish Second Division and face each other at the weekend – not much between these teams and we have gone for the draw.
STOKE are a very hard team to beat at home – ask any Arsenal fan – but we are taking WEST BROM to take a point on Saturday.
CARDIFF travel to tricky PLYMOUTH at the weekend and it looks a difficult one to call. We are taking the middle route and have plumped for the draw.
All draws priced at 12/5
PUNTERS GUIDE FIVEHIT
And finally, on to our odds-on FIVEHIT and we start off with OwEn Coyle’s BURNLEY (8/13) team who like to play proper football and should take three points at Turf Moor where bottom club Doncaster are the visitors.
PETERBORO (8/13) are in great form of late and should be taken to beat Colchester which could well put them in the top three come Saturday teatime.
CHESTERFIELD (8/13) are another form team and a win against lowly Accrington Stanley could put them into the play-off places.
Second-placed DUNFERMLINE (4/6) take on lowly Morton and the Pars should take maximum points from this one.
SPURS (4/5) have got the Midas touch under Harry Redknapp and we expect them to deliver at home to Blackburn on Sunday
The rest is up to you, as it always is!

Hatton to be beaten on points looks a nice bet tomorrow.Paulie Malignaggi does throw a lot of punches and going by Hattons last few fights he is on the slide plus the American ref's do not let him away with all the nasty stuff his buddie Micky Vann did.At one stage Vann refereed 9 consecutive Hatton fights and let him away with murder on the inside with elbows and low blows.

Rookie

Anonymous said...

Rookie,i think micky vann has refereed about 30 of Hattons fights.
What a joke although i think Ricky Fat-One might be tough for this guy plus the kid has a history of breaking his hands in fights but i agree hatton is on the slide

Micky Ginge

Anonymous said...

Ginge, did you see Paulie Malignaggi's last fight?

One for question of sport , what happened next. His dreadlocks was getting in his eyes so he had a haircut in between rounds! class!

Liam

Punter's Guide said...

Paulie Malignaggi's could dazzle Hatton and a points win looks good bet to me!

Anonymous said...

Have to say that I can't see anything other than a Ricky Hatton win, more than likely by points but I've had £20 on a 7th round stoppage by Hatton at 33/1 for an interest in the fight.
Hatton's brother Matthew fights on the undercard and he is priced at Evs with his opponent priced at 4/5. I've never seen him fighting to be honest but the betting suggests that this will be a close fight.

Gerard,

Look like YARDBIRD has let the both of us down!!
I'm glad the 2nd horse MA YAHAB didn't win though as it was between him and Yardbird for me and I would have been gutted if he'd have won.
