Liverpool to grab point in Madrid at 2/1

CHAMPIONS LEAGUE
Liverpool travel to Spain tonight to take on Ath. Madrid and we believe this one has draw written all over it at 2/1 while Barcelona 1/2 should collect all points in Switzerland.
Shaktar (1/1) are playing some good stuff and should take all points at home to Sporting Lisbon and we have went for 7/4 shots Panathinaikos who we think might upset leaky Werden Bremen.

First Goalscorer DOUBLE : Kalou (Chelsea) 5/1 , Henry (Barcelona) 4/1

United looked very good yesterday, especially Rooney, but Celtic were very poor. Although, it would be very difficult to lose a game when the linesman is on your side too!!!!

Dont blame the linesman Liam, what you seen last night was a top class european team against a poor european team. The difference in class was there for all to see.

Spurs and Newcastle for relegation!

That's what I said Fred (right)!!

United played very well and Celtic were poor but when the linesman is giving you dodgy decisions it's very hard not to win!!

Raffo (the real golf fan)

How'd your tip go in the Madrid Masters??

Liverpool, as always, will bottle it and will scrape a top 4 place.

I hope last nights game puts to bed both Celtic and Rangers fans arguments about succeeding in the English Premiership. I'm sick of arguing with them but the fact is Celtic and Rangers would struggle to get a top 10 finish in the EPL. They would both struggle to beat teams such as Everton, Villa, Spurs, Pompey etc. and it's a whole different ball game to playing Kilmarnock, Motherwell, Aberdeen etc. Barring Boruc, McGeady, Nakamura and maybe one or two more, very few of the Celtic team would get into a Premiership side. Maloney tried it and failed, Rangers Barry Ferguson tried it and failed. 2 players that were stars north of the border but when they tried it in a proper league the failed. It proves that the gulf in class between both leagues is miles apart.

AC Milan are trying to sign Beckham on loan!! Have they seen him play recently???

Obviously they're trying to sign him for the same reason Madrid and LA Galaxy did, to sell shirts!!

He was at least half a yard off on both ocassions. It's no suprise really because this bias has been happening and Old Trafford for years now.

Remember Pedro Mendes' goal for Spurs?? I suppose Roy Carroll saved that on the line!!??

Liam, you are only off side if the linesmans flag goes up.I was wearing my new £169.99 spectacles last night which i purchased from Specsavers and the more times i watched Berbatov's 2 goals I still cannot see the linesmans flag go up.

p.s.was the Roy Carroll one a goal also. No,check the scoresheet. It did not count.

Linesmen seem to encounter difficulty in raising their flags when at Old Trafford, as do referees in blowing their whistles (unless it is for a decision for Man U).
Like I've said, United were deserved winners last night but their first two goals were offside, no if's and's or but's about it!!

Liam, beckham had 2 good years at madrid and won the league in his last year with them where he got player of the year for them.

Justin Rose @ 22/1 for the Castello Masters is a great bet/starts tomorrow.

Rab

He's 2 or 3 years older now and he's playing like a headless chicken for both club and country. He was one of the best players I've ever seen but I would be certain that AC Milan are looking to sign him for marketing purposes.

Raffo (the real golf fan)

So when bacon face Fergie and the plastic United fans complain about penalty's going against United and players being wrongly sent off why don't they just check the result?? The 2 goals were offside but the linesman knew where he was and bottled it!!

I think that Castello Masters is sure to be won be one of the top 6 in the betting but I've already backed Garcia to win @ 7/1. I think Camillo Villegas will go well to but Gracia looks nailed on in my opinion.

Garcia nailed on.The only certainty in golf is that tiger woods is the best player in the world. No player is ever"nailed on" to win a golf tournament.Thats why Garcia is 7/1 and not 1/25 on, you dumb ass tool Liam.

As for Beckham being one of the best players you have ever seen i think you need to go to specsavers my friend.

Raffo
p.s. i took the advice of previous blogger and have piled on Rose each way @ 22/1.Great bet.

This course is Garcia's home course which he has played on since he was a boy. I bet you £50 now that he finishes above Justin Rose!!! Put your money were your mouth is big lad!!

The top 30 in this tournament are rewarded with a place in the British Open and the top 15 are also rewarded with a place in the US Open.

Liam,or should i say Mr Chips,Garcia is 7/1 and Rose is 22/1.Big difference.Every fool like you can pick a favourite. The bookies give Rose a 5 shot handicap start on Garcia because of the huge differences in price.

And what has the top 30 finishers to do with tipping Garcia or Rose you fool.

I will also haver £50 Spurs finish in the bottom half of the league.

I've £20 on him to win @ 7/1 and I couldn't give a monkey's tits if he's fav or not. £20 on a 7/1 fav is better than backing a longer priced loser!!!

Sergio Garcia finished his first round @ -5 and is, at present, 1 shot off the lead. He finished in great style by birdying his final 3 holes.

laim or Mr Chips i hear your name is ,Rose is currently -3 with 5 to play.Garcia -5 (finished 1st round).Close call although you hook backed and went for the 7/1 favourite while i used my superior golfing knowledge and backed a 22/1 shot each way.Garcia needs to win for you to make money, anywhere in the top six for Rose will do me.
