Great food, great drink, great entertainment we can only be talking about Drumbo Pk

Drumbo Park Review

Me and a few friends headed up to check out the all-new £3 million Drumbo Park greyhound track at first hand last Friday to see what all the fuss was about and to be honest we were blown away by the whole night.
We were led to our table in the Stonebridge Restaurant, which overlooked the finishing line through a glass paned window - fabulous seat for the action.
It was luxurious surroundings to say the least with massive plasma TV screens on every wall.
Friday night’s action soon got underway and the food and wine started to arrive.
PLACING  A BET
Then our own personal bookmaker came and asked did we go a bet? Our layer was an attractive Tote girl with a small electronic device attached to her hip that took bets and printed out your docket.
So there we were sitting on our luxurious seats enjoying the great food, drinking the wine and didn’t have to move to have a bet - heaven or what?
GREAT FOOD

The food, I have to say was out of this world and although I’m easy to please when it comes to culinary delights, my wife is the opposite and is very fussy and she loved the meal so it must have been very good.
BETTING STRAGETY
You can also back at Dublin’s Harold’s Cross track which is shown on the giant plasmas so all in all I think you could punt on 20 races in a night.
When you are in the company of women all they want to do is back dogs with familiar names instead going with the important stuff like form, stats and times.
To be honest my approach was completely different on Friday night - when the dogs were being paraded I kept a very close eye on then and backed the greyhound who had a dump first - did it work?
One bloody winner I picked the whole night so doesn’t try my tested system and to rub salt into the wounds it started at 17/1 - and won at 3/1. I backed with Tote, so if you are up in Drumbo Park get yourself down to the betting ring and get an early-price.
I will be back at Drumbo Park very soon, the only thing it lacks is entertainment after races, but I sure the owners will be changing that very soon.
Weekend nights will never be the same again as they race every Thursday, Friday and Saturday night and if you want to go along to this exciting new greyhound track call and book a reservation on 02890 610070 or check out their website www.drumbopark.com.

are you a doggy man?

1st dog to have a dump.

everyone knows you dont feed a dog the day of the race apart from a few vitamin pills/buiscuits and water.if a dog is dumping the day of the race it means it has being over eating.Wonder why? the owner does not want it to win!

As for the girl taking the bets(attractive tote girl?)Where you not there with your better half? BEHAVE YOURSELF!Rip that roving eye out!

JOEY T(will be there this friday night with work do so will look out for the attractive tote girl)

I'll be there on the 24th of this month. I went to it a few times before it was done up and it was a great night out so I'm looking forward to getting back.

Villa look to have got the toughest UEFA Cup draw from the 4 English clubs. Spurs got away lightly but the form we're in who knows. Pompey have drawn AC Milan!!

Three teams being heavily backed tonight according to my mole in the bookmakers.
He also says that Derry City were punted on a lot by punters in the Donegal Pass area yesterday - strange one that.
Right get the pens at the ready
Burton 11/8
Crawley 8/11 and a strange one
Grays 11/2 (with Sean Graham)
but 4/1 everywhere else

PG Tuesday night NAP
CHESTER 6/5

A seven-year-old boy was at the centre of a London courtroom drama today when he challenged a court ruling over who should have custody of him.

The boy has a history of being beaten by his parents and the judge initially awarded custody to his aunt, in keeping with child custody law and regulations requiring that family unity be maintained to the degree possible.

The boy surprised the court when he proclaimed that his aunt beat him more than his parents and he adamantly refused to live with her. When the judge then suggested that he live with his grandparents, the boy cried out that they also beat him.

After considering the remainder of the immediate family and learning that domestic violence was apparently a way of life among them, the judge took the unprecedented step of allowing the boy to propose who should have custody of him. After two recesses to check legal references and confer with child welfare officials, the judge granted temporary custody to Tottenham Hotspur Football Club, whom the boy firmly believes are incapable of beating anyone.
