Liverpool to win battle of Merseyside

PATHETIC, that’s the only way to describe last week’s predictions from the Punters Guide.
Things are going to have to change, folks, the bookmakers are getting the better of things at the minute and we need to start winning.
LIVE TV QUAD
We start with our live weekend nap and hopefully LIVERPOOL 5/4 can get things off to a winning start with a victory over Everton in the Merseyside derby at Goodison Park (Live on Sky 12.45pm).
Liverpool’s title odds are on the slide once again after they failed to beat Stoke at Anfield last week – exactly the kind of result that has haunted Liverpool in recent years. They are now out to 8/1 for the title.
Everton have had a nervy start and their defence has been leaking goals this season, which is why we expect the red side of the Mersey to take all points.
On to the 5.20pm live game on Sky and local boy Jim Magilton has seen his Ipswich side suffer an inconsistent start to the season.
He knows a win at home to Crystal Palace could see his side’s season turn for the better and we think the Tractor Boys are a good bet at even money.
On to Sunday’s live action and we kick off with the 1.30pm match which sees out-of-form Spurs travel to Fratton Park to take on Portsmouth.
Spurs look like a team who don’t know each other and it will take a while for it all to bed in, while Portsmouth were on the end of a 6-0 thumping at Man City last week. So both teams need something from the game and we think a DRAW looks the likely bet at 11/5.
The final instalment of our live quad sees the visit of the very much in-form Man City to the JJB stadium to take on Steve Bruce’s Wigan (Sky, 4.05pm).
Mark Hughes saw his side tear Portsmouth to shreds last week with an emphatic 6-0 mauling and he will hope his side can follow up come Sunday.
Wigan are a hard team to beat and gained a point at Spurs last week. Steve Bruce will hope to put more points on the board against his former teammate.
We don’t think he will and we have gone for MAN CITY (5/4) to take all points on Sunday.
THE PG XXX
On to our weekend XXX and we start in the Championship with the top game.
BIRMINGHAM hit a blip last week at home to Blackpool but expect them to take a point at CARDIFF, draw priced at 11/5.
On to the SPL and the INVERNESS  v KILMARNOCK game looks another tight one – the 12/5 draw looks the bet.
Staying in the SPL, and making the weekend draw treble up is HEARTS’ visit to DUNDEE UTD which also gets a 12/5 quote.
The PG FIVE-HIT is READING 4/5, CHARLTON 4/5, LEICESTER 8/13, MOTHERWELL 8/11 and ASTON VILLA  at 8/13.

and a wee bit of racing...

Great card at Ascot tomorrow with the Queen Elizabeth II Stakes (3.40) being the feature of the day.
The layers have found it difficult to separate dual 2000 Guineas hero Henrythenavigator and dual Group One winner Tamayuz – both were trading around the 6/4 mark as we went to press.
The duo look the class acts of the race but we are going to oppose both horses and have opted for RAVENS PASS who trades around 4/1. We think he can gain revenge over Henrythenavigator who has beaten him twice in his last three races, but John Gosden has his stable flying and we expect him to turn the tables on Saturday.
The Barry Hills-trained Giganticus is 10-1 clear favourite with the sponsors to land Saturday's totesport.com Challenge Cup (4.20) over seven furlongs at Ascot, but look out for the Walter Swinburn-trained CARNIOLAN who loves the Ascot track and trades at around 12/1.
Favourite-backers can get the afternoon off to a winning start by backing the unbeaten RIP VAN WINKLE to make it a hat-trick of wins in the Juddmonte Royal Lodge Stakes (2.30).
Another unbeaten sort in the shape of Rainbow View looks yet another favourite to keep well on your side in the Meon Valley Stud Fillies' Mile (3.05).
The rest is up to you

Dolly's Back & So's The Crack
Gonna leave you a scorecast every week.
Everton 1-0, first goal Cahill 55/1

PS Can PG settle an argument. Fella was doing a 0-0 draw a few weeks ago but I told him to do No Goal Scorer incase the match was 1-0 and the goal scored was an og. Was this correct.
C'mon now hurry up

Want to make some guaranteed money.

Apparently a % of premiership footballers are cashing in on this.

Rules are simple
*pick 1 team.
*you cannot change the team.
*you back the team to draw every week
*if they do not draw you do the same team to draw the following week only you double your stake
*you must keep doubling your stake each week until they draw
*when they draw you are guaranteed to make money but only if you double your stake each week

simple--dont believe me-work it out for yourself, premiership footballers are cashing in all over england apparently

wow,i have just worked it out and you cannot lose on this formula.you would need big money if they did not draw for a few months but it seems to be guaranteed

Dolly says
Obviously for this bet you would like a team that dosen't draw too often so I looked up Celtics results for last year. Celtic drew their fist match 0-0 but didn't draw again until 1st. December 1-1 v Hearts. If you take it you started off with a £10 stake by the time Celtic drew again your bets would have cost you £163,830, if your bank account, your nerves and you marriage withstood this outlay and taking the draw price to be 5/2 you would collect £573,405, a profit of £409,575 for just over 3 months sweating.
Anybody lend'us a tenner
