Chelsea beat a lot of bets as well at the weekend drawing 1-1 at home while Arsenal eased to a 3-0 win over a bad Newcastle team.A local punter staked £5,000 on Man Utd to beat Zenit St Petersburg on Friday - trying to steal money and got his fingers burnt.A Cork punter however didn't when his 8,000 euro quad touched with Sean Grahams - he was waiting on Tyrone -3 points on Sunday - he picked up 40,000 for the bet- great stuff!

Utd and Fergie finally got their man and what a great signing that is for the champs but is the 27 year-old worth 30.75million?.
Man City got Robinho as compensation at a cost of £32.5million - hate to see what they going to spend the next time the transfer window opens.
Everton signed a good one in Fellani who looks a good buy at £15million.
Spurs finally signed a striker in Roman Pavlyuchenko (£14m) and also

Liverpool got Riera while Arsenal signed no-one which could be one of the Wengers biggest mistakes.

If Robbie Keane is worth 23 MillioN,Spurs should have held out for at least 40 million.Berbatov is a class act who made Robbie Keane look good.The new Eric Cantona for sure.
