The Punters Guide continues to hand out the winners and if there is a better soccer tipster out there then we’d like to know about it.
Another 11/1 winning Fivehit hit bookmakers where it hurts and lined the pockets of fans at Eire Go Brach Celtic Supporters Club who have been cashing in all year with the PG selections.
Man Utd are the new favourites for the Premiership after the weekend results and are as low as 10/11 in places, with Arsenal next best at 5/2, while Chelsea have drifted out to 11/4.
PG QUAD
Let’s get to the weekend quad and we start with our banker bet of the weekend and we have opted for a WEST HAM (11/10) win at home to ‘safe’ Stoke.
The far-from-Happy Hammers are battling for their Premiership lives and will be hoping to bounce back after that shocker against Wolves on Tuesday night that saw them booed off the pitch.
DERBY (7/4) need points on the board and quick and we think Nigel Clough’s men can claim all points at home to Leicester.
BRIGHTON (1/1) can make home advantage count against Tranmere and grab three much-needed points. Making the quad up are CARDIFF (7/4) who travel to Selhurst Park to take on a Crystal Palace side who are in free-fall at the minute.
PG FIVEHIT
Let’s see if we can follow up on last week’s winning Fivehit and we start with a win for BRISTOL ROVERS (8/11) against relegation battlers Southend.
FORFAR (11/10) look a good bet for three points against basement club Elgin.
ABERDEEN (4/5) can beat a surely pig-sick St Mirren side who failed to beat nine-man Rangers in the CIS Cup final last week. Hopefully by end of Saturday the first three are in the bag.
We move on to Sunday for our final two teams and we are banking on Sheffield Utd (4/6) to bring home the bacon with a win against Scunthorpe.
The Johstones Paint Trophy final is where we end our Fivehit and we take SOUTHAMPTON (4/5) to beat Carlisle in the lower league Wembley showpiece.
XXX
Time we got a bit of joy with our draw treble.
We have opted to mark ‘X’ on the following games.
READING v WEST BROM, WOLVES v EVERTON and PLYMOUTH v BLACKPOOL.
All draws priced at 11/5.
